Angeliki Spiropoulou organised a one-day symposium at the Senate House in London on “English and European Comparative Studies: Views from the Future”, in May 2016. It was co-organised by the Institute of English Studies and the Institute of Modern Languages of the School of Advanced Study, University of London in collaboration with the ENCLS/REELC. The first of the special issues and volumes to be published as proceedings of the 6th International Congress of the ENCLS, Longing and Belonging/Désir et Appartenance,  is out:  see Between.
